Namibian Boxer Arrested For Attempted Sexual Assault At Rio Olympics Village

A Namibian boxer aged 22 has been arrested by Brazilian police on suspicion of sexual assault on a cleaner in the athlete village in Rio.  Jonas Junius who was the flag bearer for his country at the Rio 2016 Olympics opening is the second athlete who has been arrested for suspected sexual assault after the Moroccan athlete.
According to the cleaner, Jonas tried to grab her and kiss her.  In her complaints she stated that the boxer offered her money in exchange for sex which she refused and reported this straight to the police. The Namibian boxer was arrested and taken to the high security prison of Bangu. Jonas who was scheduled to fight against French boxer Hassan  Anzille on Thursday risk missing this game due to the allegation.
According to Brazil's criminal code the crime of rape occurs if the author forces the victim to have sexual intercourse, or forces the victim into performing secual act. Therefore any sexual act practice's without consent is considered rape.
